At PrimeTime Timing® we are a full service timing and results management company providing a complete solution to your timing and scoring needs.

PrimeTime Timing was founded in 2003 by Sean Gavigan and Scott Steuernagel with the goal of providing timing and scoring services to all levels of active sports events, from the elite level down the the high school and and middle school level. 

Sean Gavigan was a graduate of Arrowhead High School in Hartland, WI where he ran cross country and track.  He went on to UW Eau Claire where he was a two-time NCAA All American and set the school record at 800m.  Sean began timing in 1999 while a student at UW Eau Claire.  He is a certified Hy-Tek Meet Contractor, and designed our online entry site.  Sean's resume of events include the 2007 NCAA Track & Field Championships, 2006 ISU World Speed Skating Championships, 2007 American Birkiebeiner, 2005-2007 LifeTime Fitness Triathlon, and 2005-2007 Saint Paul Inline Marathon.  In addition to these events, Sean manages and oversees over 250 High School and Collegiate Track & Field and Cross Country events each year. 

Scott Steuernagel is from Tomahawk High School, Tomahawk WI and attended college at UW-Oshkosh where he was a National Champion distance runner in 1992. He has been the head track & field and cross country coach at the collegiate and high school levels for eleven years. Most recently he coached at UW-Eau Claire. He has been managing track & field meets and cross country meets for twelve years including bringing the NCAA III National Cross Country Championships to UW-Eau Claire in 2004.  In the Spring of 2006 Scott opted to step down from a management role to spend more time with his family and other business ventures, but he will continue to time events as a part of the PrimeTime Team. 

Jonathan Coy joined the PT Timing team in the Summer of 2007 after spending the previous nine years in Flagstaff, Arizona.  Jonathan attended Northern Arizona University, where in addition to competing in Track & Cross Country,  he earned  degrees in both Geography and Remote Sensing.  Jonathan's GIS background will bring the ability to produce accurate, highly detailed course maps for our clients.  Since graduation, Jonathan has become an avid cyclist and triathlete.  We look forward to utilizing Jon's unique skillset to aid in the services we provide our clients.

AMB ChipX Transponder Timing
In April of 2006 we became the first timing company in the US to use the AMB ChipX transponder system in the US.  The ChipX system is the most advanced transponder timing system on the market today. AMBis the leader in transponder timing technology and was recently used by Lance Armstrong in his record 7th Tour de France victory. This is the only chip technology to be used in the 2004 Athens Olympics. It will be used to time the Olympic Marathon, Triathlon and all Olympic Bicycle races. For track meets we use FinishLynx, the undisputed world leader in track timing. We provide instant results and eliminate the need for finish line workers. Finish Lynx has accuracy to the 10,000th of a second. Online Registration for Track & Field / Cross Country
We eliminate the need to fax, receive faxes, and input hundreds of names. Our automated online entry system ensures accurate and trouble free entries into your events.  Once we have received your entries we can seed and post heat sheets on our website and provide you with the Hy-Tek Meet Manager file, ready to run your event.

PrimeTime Timing has partnered with Team Sport Technologies to offer customized online registration and payment gateway for active sport events.  We can provide a online environment that will emulate your paper registration form.  We can provide this service for a cost that is less than services such as Active.com.
