We utilize the latest technology to offer real-time results through our internet-based live results and broadcast graphics platform (powered by Karmarush), infield LED display boards, and permanent in-stadium videoboard displays.
Our extensive inventory of FinishLynx photofinish cameras, with a range of advanced capabilities, ensures fast and accurate results for any track event, from youth meets to professional competitions. Serving a diverse clientele nationwide, we manage events of all sizes, including local high school meets, nationwide collegiate meets, and professional events all the way up to the Olympic Trials.
One of our key strengths is our ability to provide LED display boards around the track, enabling spectators to follow field events in real time. This data is processed using PTT's proprietary field event tablet system, which features an intuitive user interface for event officials. The system relays information to infield displays, a commentator information system (CIS), and internet live results, so everyone can follow each attempt as it happens.
Through our partnership with Karmarush, we offer the fastest live results platform in the country. Fans and coaches can access responsive meet results on any device, jumping from field event leaderboards to track split times instantly. Season and personal best tagging plus quick history lookups make the experience unmatched.

Photofinish Timing
We use digital photofinish cameras to determine athletes finishing times and places for every race. The cameras run at 1,000 frames per second with the capability of reaching 10,000 frames per second. The camera system software drives real time data to in stadium displays and internet based live results systems, and every unit runs on battery backup power to stay online during a temporary outage.
Athlete Tracking
Real time athlete tracking has been used at the 2021 and 2024 US Olympic Trials as well as the 2022 and 2023 USATF Outdoor Championships. The system provides instant race progress for leaderboards and broadcast graphics, syncs with replay machines, and can pair with bluetooth biometric devices for additional data.
False Start Detection
The Swiss Timing MOSTRAC system is an accelerometer based SIS that meets the requirements for a World Athletics Product Certificate. Integrated into the StartTime V e-gun system, it shares the same audio, lets the starter speak through the gun, and provides reaction times plus force charts immediately after the start.
Display Clocks & Lap Counters
Display clocks can be placed around the venue to show running time, start lists, results, or time of day during breaks, with multiple sizes available. Three sided LED lap counters keep coaches and fans informed and can be driven manually or automatically with the athlete tracking system.
Triangle Field Displays
Full LED triangle field event displays introduced in 2024 feature a 4 mm pixel pitch and high refresh rate so they look sharp from any distance. The standard configuration stands 1.2 m tall with a 2.4 m wide flat face to highlight attempts and sponsors.
Field Event Displays
PrimeTime maintains one of the largest inventories of LED displays for track and field. Modular panels let us build custom field boards—typically just over 3' x 6'—with 6 mm resolution for crisp text and images anywhere in the stadium.
Wind Gauges
Wind gauges integrate directly with the timing system to log readings according to every rulebook. Optional LED displays show instant green or red backgrounds to flag legal readings for record purposes.
Videoboard Signals
Multiple videoboard layout options are available through broadcast quality graphics machines that output HD-SDI signals in either 1080i or 720p to the videoboard production.
Field Event Tablets
Our proprietary field event tablet system gives operators an intuitive UI to follow attempts and enter marks as the event unfolds. Tablets connect over a PTT wireless network so displays, announcers, and internet results update instantly from the infield.
Electronic Distance Measurement
Electronic Distance Measurement (EDM) is a laser based device accurate to ±2 mm and ±2 angular seconds, exceeding World Athletics standards. It provides measurements for throws and horizontal jumps and feeds marks directly into the scoring computer to eliminate transcription errors.
Customized TV Outputs
Customized outputs can be designed to drive concourse televisions or venue displays so fans away from their seats can keep up with live action, running clocks, and sponsor content.
Custom Data API
We provide data access for outside partners, pushing live information to ribbon boards, sponsor apps, and any vendor supporting your event.
Race Walk Judging
LED displays can show infractions for race walk events immediately so officials, athletes, and fans know the current status on course.
Custom Displays
We can design custom LED layouts that show multiple running clocks, laps to go, and other data points tailored to your event presentation.
Countdown Clocks
Full color LED field event countdown clocks highlight the current competitor, who is on deck, attempt timers, and event logos in a single glance.
Live Results
In partnership with Karmarush we deliver the fastest live results platform in the country with responsive layouts, detailed athlete data, and the ability to highlight records or best marks instantly.
Broadcast Graphics
The same Karmarush platform powers broadcast integrations so producers can surface real-time information with the press of a button, even when multiple events run simultaneously.
Clerking
PrimeTime can provide a computer based system for checking in athletes and seeding meets on the fly, reducing empty lanes and keeping the schedule moving.
Database Management
We use Hy-Tek Meet Manager to handle entries and start lists, integrating tightly with live results and display boards so data is always in sync.
Online Entries
For high school events we team up with MileSplit for online entries, while collegiate meets rely on DirectAthletics for easy TFRRS synchronization.
Results Reporting
Post meet workflows include syncing final results to every required reporting system, with collegiate meets automatically exported to TFRRS upon completion.
Toe Board Review
A recording system tied to the results tablet captures each attempt so officials can review protests instantly with frame by frame controls.
Throws Review
Throws review mirrors the toe board workflow with two broadcast quality cameras to evaluate the ring from both sides during a protest.
Track Review
PTZ cameras in each corner of the track supplement the broadcast feed to capture more race footage for protests, and when paired with athlete tracking they can automatically follow competitors.
